When is London Fashion Week?

Hold onto your hats, bags, shoes or dresses ladies – London Fashion Week is approaching and it will be here quicker than we all think.

London Fashion Week 13th – 17th September 2013

The latest news from London Fashion Week is Nicholas Kirkwood is giving London Fashion Week a makeover. The renowed footwear designer is going to be taking the lead role for all the creative brand marketing for the spring/summer 2014 London show, which is schedule in September 2014. Its’s a big job being responsible for designing the artwork for press and marketing. Let us congratulate him and wish him every success.

He will no doubt feature his distinctive signature chevron pattern and incorporate his desire of geometric and architecturally inspired prints – as seen in his successful shoe line. I can see it now. The courtyard of Somerset House will look amazing. This will certainly draw the attention of many visitors.

“It’s a great privilege to be able to team up with the BFC on this exciting project and apply my interpretation to the London Fashion Week campaign,” said Kirkwood. “I’ve taken elements of my work and designed a pattern that I feel reflects the bold nature and energy of London Fashion Week.”

Kirkwood follows Manolo Blahnik and Jonathan Saunders in designing London Fashion Week artwork.

“It’s wonderful to be able to collaborate with designers on the London Fashion Week creative – it brings a personal element and a new, exciting dimension to each season,” said Caroline Rush, CEO of the BFC. “Nicholas’s creative vision: a bold palette, sharp graphic lines and his signature chevron pattern have real impact.”
