Form just £30.00 a month, anyone can become a member of Elite Couture. This allows them to have an account and unlimited online access to the company’s range of bags which are available.

With descriptions and photographs of each bag on the company website, customers can browse the ever-growing collection.

Members pay a fee – ranging from £30-£150, depending on the duration of the membership – to hire their chosen accessory.

To rent a Alexander McQueen Black Studded Knuckle-box Clutch for a week, for example, costs £108.

It is also possible to extend the loan period. After ordering online, customers receive their chosen item within normally within 24 hours if ordered before 2pm. Postage is  free of charge which is great.

Mrs Borcova said: “I’ve always been very passionate about fashion and style from the top designers in the world.

“We must have spent around £60,000 on bags over the past few months but I’m very careful to thoroughly research each and every one of them before buying. Having said this, all our stock is direct from Prada, Chanel and Dior, Louis Vuitton, etc, so we never worry about authenticity.

“We have an incredibly varied and demanding client base, from women wanting a handbag for weddings, special occasions, to those wanting a fabulous new bag for the boardroom.”

She added: “So far we’ve been very lucky because all our customers have been incredibly careful with the bags, returning them all in pristine condition.”
